Recruitment of Chief Executive Officer of Global Fellowship of Christian youth
Global fellowship is seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer by the end of 2012 to lead and develop the organization in its work with member organisations around the world.
We offer an interesting position in the centre of the worldwide network of Christian youth organisations. The position involves travel and cooperation in an international environment with different cultures and traditions in contact with dedicated key organisational representatives. Global Fellowship is open to explore new ways of communication and new activity platforms in the ongoing development of the organisation.

A. Open post of Chief Executive Officer
Applications are invited for the post of Chief Executive Officer of Global Fellowship of Christian Youth. Deadline for application: 15th August 2012
Summary of Responsibilities
- To assist the elected trustees in setting and developing the organisation's strategic planning
- To develop and strengthen the Fellowship
- To develop a modern communication platform which promotes efficient communication within the Fellowship
- To play an active role in supporting, mentoring and consulting with member organisations
- To co-ordinate the work of key volunteers engaged in such mentoring and consultation
- To involve and motivate volunteers in the work and development of the Fellowship
- To provide pastoral care for key staff and volunteers amongst member organisations where required
- To co-ordinate, oversee and, where necessary, manage projects involving cultural exchange and interaction between young people from different member organisations
- To manage the Fellowship's administrative assistant or such other arrangements as may be made for the efficient administration of the Fellowship
- To act as a central hub co-ordinating the various activities of the Fellowship
- To assist the elected trustees in the discharge of their duties
- To represent the Fellowship to external stakeholders as required
