Trustees
This team of trustees has the twin roles of setting direction and policy for the organisation. Its members are elected once every three years at the triennial Council Meeting. The current team was elected in August 2010.

Morten Skov Mogensen “Creating platforms for cultural meetings provides the window of understanding, tolerance and respect among members in our christian fellowship”. This has been a guideline in Mortens strong involvement in FDF international affairs at activity and coordination level through international networking. This also includes European Fellowship involvement since 2002 where he for a period of time served as chairman. He has for 7 years worked professionally with youth leader training by running the European Fellowship project EuroClass www.euroclass.org. A full time 4, 6 or 10 month leader training course involving organisational development in youth organisations. Morten has been the Chairman of Global Fellowship since 2010.

Henry Curry ll Captain Curry was born in the beautiful island of Cat, Bahamas in 1943. He was educated at the St. Barnabas Day School, Western Junior and Senior Schools before pursuing extensive tertiary education at the Ministry of Education Evening Institute and The College of The Bahamas. He joined the Lad’s Brigade at the age of 11 and in 1970 was inducted as the Captain of the 23rd Bahamas, a position he still holds today. He is the Past President of The Bahamas Council of BB and the current Chairman of the Western Caribbean Regional Fellowship. He is the Past Grand master of the Independent United Order of Mechanics Western Hemisphere Incorporated. Captain Curry is presently employed at The Simpson Penn Centre for Boys, which is a correctional institution for young men. He is a devout member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church, New Providence where he has held and continues to hold numerous leadership positions. He is married to Lorraine they are the proud parents of Henry III (deceased), Henchell, Henrick, Henrington, Henrea and Henderson. They are also grandparents to a beautiful granddaughter, Aaliya. Captain Curry would one day like to change this title and be known as Father Curry, as his ultimate goal is to one day serve his church with special emphasis on Youth Ministry. |

Richard Kyle Richard has been a member of The Boys’ Brigade in the United Kingdom (BB UK) since he was a young boy, first in the 1st Alloway Company in Ayr and then the 34th Stirling Company in Dollar, Scotland. He has served as an Officer in the 34th Stirling Company and, more recently, the 135th Glasgow Company. While at university Richard was involved in a number of BB UK’s international youth work projects and served on BB UK’s International Forum. During this time he had the great privilege of visiting members of the GF family in Brazil which sparked his passion to serve uniformed Christian youth organisations around the world. Richard is a Lecturer at the University of Stirling and lives in Inverness with his wife, Katherine. Richard currently serves as the Treasurer of Global Fellowship. |

Matthew Smith Matthew is a barrister with a specialism in charity law, although his practice includes fraud, insolvency and trusts-based litigation. He has been a member of the Boys’ Brigade in the United Kingdom (BB UK) since he was a young boy and is now an Officer in the 5th London company. He has been privileged to meet a number of the Fellowship’s colleagues around the world. Matthew (since August 2010) is the Secretary of Global Fellowship and has previously served as the treasurer. |

Edward Smithson Ed has been a BB UK member since he was 6, so when he moved away to university it was a natural progression to continue his service through the international youth work projects which operate within BB UK. He became Chairman of the BB UK International Forum and oversaw the delivery of several peer education projects within BB UK - the largest of which focused on educating young people on the experiences of disadvantaged youth in Brazil, and challenging BB UK children to respond. He has been involved in the European Fellowship as a member of the planning team for the flagship Easter Course. Since moving to London to work as a statistician, he has become a Company Captain (local group leader). He says "This regular contact with children and young people informs and inspires my other current activities as Chair of the steering group for BB UK's project with BB Cameroon, national representative to EF and now trustee of Global Fellowship. I pray for God's will be to be done through GF over the next three years." |

Rev Canon Patrick Tugume Patrick is from Kampala, Uganda and is aged 55 years. He is also 6'5'' tall. By profession he is an Anglican clergyman employed by the Anglican Church of Uganda Provincial Secretariat. He grew up as a member of 7th Kigezi Co. Boys Brigade Uganda in his youth and was a drummer there. He worked as an overseer for Boys' and Girls' Brigade in the diocese of North Kigezi for over 10 years and when he came to Kampala was elected onto the National Council of Boys' and Girls' Brigade Uganda. Currently he also serves as Chairman of the East African Regional Fellowship which includes BB/BGB Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi. He says "I am happy to be joining you in serving with you in the ministry with the youth worldwide." |

Leif RasmussenLeif is born in Denmark and has since his childhood been member of FDF, and still he is. There he took part in all kind of music activities. Later he became a secretary in FDF and was for years responsible for leader-training and education on national level. By profession he is a teacher and taught many years at a boarding school for adults, mainly in literature and methodology and education. This year he retired from the school, and got his new job in GF. He is also passionately involved in song-and hymn writing, and has written several songs used all over the country. Leif is the Cheif Executive of Global Fellowship.

Vic RussellVic is working as the Administrator for Global Fellowship. He was an officer in the Boys' Brigade working with all sections. He is now the Administrator for the London District of the Boys' Brigade supporting over 100 Companies within the London area. Vic was for many years a finance officer of a large company and then ran his own software company. He is very active in his own church and a Trustee of the Gideons International in the UK.

Morten SkrubbeltrangMorten hails from Denmark where he has a Bachelor in Theology. At present he is studying for his Masters in Theology. Previously he was employed as the International Secretary of FDF Denmark where amongst other things he was responsible for the last two large international projects in FDF – one in the Philippines and also the Made in India programme. He has served as Chairman for the FDF International Committee. He is living in Demark having returned from field studies concerning the understanding of mission in the Arcot Lutheran Church. Morten is currently employed as the chief executive in a Danish church organisation. Formerally Morten as served as a chairman of Global Fellowship. |

Bill batesBill is a retired policeman living on the Isle of Wight, off the south coast of England. He is Captain of 1st Newport (IW) Boys’ Brigade and has been in BB since the age of 11. On retirement he worked with Mercy Ships and whilst in Sierra Leone became involved with BB in Freetown. His experience led him to work with Global Fellowship and he now has a special interest in the West African region. Bill’s aim is to encourage the countries within the West African Regional Fellowship to work closer together in order to make the BB self sufficient. |

Stephen LaneStephen is a member of the BB UK & Ireland national executive, the Chairman and trustee of a number of other national and local charities and a former European Region ExCo member of the World Conference and Global Fellowship. He is married and both his wife and daughter are Brigade officers and like him are involved in a number of youth organisations. He is a self-employed management services provider in the commercial world and member of the executive of the Thames North Synod of the United Reformed Church. Over the years Stephen has visited most of the Regional Fellowships and, following a project in the Caribbean is presently supporting the work of the East African Regional Fellowship. His interests other than travelling range from producing ceremonial events to, when he makes the time, painting. |
