What we do
What Global Fellowship do?
Our ministry is focused around five key areas:
Uniting
We work to build unity amongst members whilst at the same time acknowledge and celebrate their cultural diversity. GF facilitates and acts as a catalyst to bring clusters of national organisations together through regional associations.
Resourcing
There is much value and inspiration in hearing or reading from other traditions, cultures and methods, especially so at a global level. Regional associations coordinate the sharing of ideas in the areas of programming, training and leadership thus enabling members to have an informed and global perspective.
Supporting
Christians have a strong mandate to support one another, especially so amongst the disadvantaged and needy.
GF co-ordinates voluntary sharing of resources through;
Christians have a strong mandate to support one another, especially so amongst the disadvantaged and needy.
GF co–ordinates voluntary sharing of resources through; Spiritual support; through prayer and mentoring of our colleagues and Physical support; through the administration of a financial grants and loan scheme.
Profiling
Through a common brand and logo we deliver both credibility and capacity on a global scale. GF represents its members at a global level with international partners such as the United Nations, The World Council of Churches and other collectives concerned in the welfare of young people. This offers members the sense belonging to something larger than themselves and has a positive tangible impact on their dealings with external stakeholders.
Extending
GF is committed to extension and growth. It seeks and welcomes new members and will serve as a catalyst to assist regions to expand into uncharted territories of the globe with the good news of the Christian faith to all young people.
Key tasks Global Fellowship offers to members includes;
- Assisting and advising on fundraising.
