Revd Canon Patrick Tugume Regional Chairman for the East African region, has been appointed Bishop of North Kigezi. The consecration service is on 5th June 2011.

Singapore

A total of 30 Juniors Programme Officers and volunteers met on 14 May for a time of fellowship and sharing of fresh ideas for parade activities.
BOTC 01/11 Adventure Weekend

Over the weekend of 7-8 May 2011, Officers undergoing the Basic Officers Training Course headed to Tanjung Piai Ed-Venture Village, in Johor, Malaysia, for an action-packed 2-day 1-night residential weekend.
East African Workshop
A Young Leaders' Conference was held end April/beginning May. There were over 180 participants from within and outside Uganda. It was very effective with youth empowerment speakers who encouraged the participants with the theme ''FACES OF THE WORLD FACING THE WORLD'' , with a sub theme of ''communication as a challenge to young people''.

Stedfast Federation Weekend Eastbourne 20th-23rd May
Matthew Smith and Edward Smithson, from Global Fellowship ExCO, went and spoke at the above event.
The presentations were much enjoyed and helped spread the new of Global Fellowship and all the work our members are doing around the globe.
